Edit Column Information

BYU Learning Suite allows instructors to organize course content in the Schedule into columns.

 

Step One:

Enter your Learning Suite course and click on Schedule.

Step Two:

To change the name of the column, click on the column name text box [1].

 

Step Three:

To edit column information, click on the drop down menu next to the column title [1].

 

Step Four:

You can move a column left or right depending on the location of the column. Highlight the Move Column option.

 

Step Five:

Another menu will appear. Select Move to the Left/Right to move the column.

 

Step Six:

You can add a column to the left or the right depending on the location of the column. Highlight the +Add column option [1]. Select Add on the Left/Right [2] to add a column.You can also delete a column by clicking Delete column [3].

 

Step Seven:

You can add a hidden column to the left or the right depending on the location of the column. Highligh the +Add Hidden Column option [1]. Select Add on the Left/Right [2] to add a hidden column. This column will not be visible to students.

 

Step Eight:

To customize what calendar items appear under each column, check the appropriate boxes listed underneath Show Categories [1]. Each of the categories created in the Assignments tab will be listed. Checking the box next to a category will include all of the assignments that correspond to that category. Category titles cannot be changed within Schedule, but you can change them from the assignments tab under Course Home, BYU Grades, or Syllabus. RSS feeds can also be added to Schedule. Note: Devotional and forum information will only show in your schedule if you have Tuesdays added in your schedule.
