Using the Schedule

BYU Learning Suite allows instructors to add content and events in a calendar format to their course. Assignments and exams created in Assignments, Syllabus, or BYU Grades will be viewable and editable in Schedule. The Schedule lets students see what is happening in a course day-by-day. Users can also import the schedule to either Google Calendar or iCal to keep updated on the course through their electronic devices.

Items such as assignment or exams can be added to your course through the Schedule. For more information, visit the Create New Schedule Items page.

Step One:

Enter your Learning Suite course and click on Schedule.



Step Two:

The default view for the Schedule displays a calendar on the left side [1], and then columns, showing specific attributes, on the right [2]. Every course schedule will automatically contain two columns. You can add up to five columns.

Note: Instructors can hide the calendar on the left hand side by clicking on the Schedule link [3].
