Downloading the Zoom Client

BYU provides all faculty and students with access to the video conferencing software Zoom. Zoom can be used by instructors to teach from abroad, or allow students to access lectures from abroad. In order to be able to use Zoom, the Zoom Client software needs to be downloaded.

 

Step One:

Go to http://byu.zoom.us and click Sign In. Use your BYU NetID and password to log in.

 

Step Two:

Scroll to the bottom of the page. Under the Download list click Meetings Client.

 

Step Three:

Under the Zoom Client for Meetings heading, click the Download button.

Step Four:

A dialog window will appear. Save the installer file in the desired location of your computer and click Save.

 

Step Five:

Locate the installer file and double-click to open it. Follow the prompts given to install Zoom.
